  27. Check the condition of your battery.  If this battery leaks, it can damage
  28. components in the scan doubler circuit and other nearby stuff.  In this
  29. case, you may already have damage internal to the PC board.  We do repairs,
  30. and could look at your board, but some with battery corrosion damage have not
  31. proven repairable.
